Invercargill artist Lynley Tuckey's first love has been working with fabric and fibre. In 2006 she completed stage 2 of a Diploma of Art and Creativity at The Learning Connexion in Wellington and since then her work has taken new direction into painting, 3D and mixed media.

She has exhibited in galleries and craft shops since 1988, including:

• exhibited with eight other artists in "All Dressed Up with Bags of Style" exhibition at Riverton Art Gallery, 2005
• exhibited with two other fibre artists at Step in Thyme, Invercargill, 2000
• solo exhibition (by invitation) at Anderson Park Art Gallery, Invercargill, 1994
• exhibited with another fibre artist in "Fabric and Fire", Gallery 5, Invercargill 1988
• exhibited in Festival of Creative Arts, City Gallery, Invercargill, 2006/2007
• exhibited with one other artist in "Connected" at The Bank Art Gallery, Invercargill, 2006
• Art in the Park 2007
